The Mini SAS 36-pin (SFF-8087) side is the host, and the 4 x SAS 29-pin (SFF-8482) is the target. The SFF-8087 interface supports Mini SAS 4i disk array cards as internal SAS cables. The SFF-8482 interface is mainly used on the SAS hard disk side and is compatible with SAS hard disks.
Supports transmission speeds of up to 6 Gbps. Used for servers, array cards, SAS, SATA, hard disks.
A 15-pin SATA power supply is attached to the SFF-8482 side.
